The Episcopal Palace

Construction began at the end of the 12th - start of the 13th century, by building against the Roman wall.

Preserved from the original palace is a Romanic gallery, inside the building on the first floor of the north-west wing, with arches resting on twin columns which face the patio. Overlooking the patio are some 13th-century three-paned windows which belong to the south-west wing, and a 14th-century Flamboyant Gothic window.

The patio was completed in 1784. The façade with wooden galleries overlooking Nova Square was also completed in the same year and is the work of Josep Mas.

The Bisbe Street façade, decorated with engravings, was built contemporaneously

The building was completed in 1928 with the façade facing Garriga i Bachs Square.
